I have 2 bottles of Moutai, one being the most famous brand in China.

They were given as gifts and I cracked them, tried them a couple of times, and left them at that as I thought they were a (cheap) Chinese version of soju.

In fact one is killer expensive, but neither suit my tastes at all. So I would like to sell them to someone who would appreciate them and then I will buy something I would prefer.

Kweichow Moutai 500 ml (prob 450 ml left) (most famous and expensive brand). China price- 1,200 RMB/ 200,000 won

Asking 75,000 won obo

xiaohutuxian 500 ml Moutai (prob 450ml left)
China price 139 RMB/23,000 won

10,000 won

Or if you buy the Kweichow Moutai I will throw this one in...

I'll straight up trade them for a used deodorant stick and 3 old soap slivers mashed back into a serviceable bar. (from high dollar hotel soap too!!!) Very Happy

It's a very attractive offer, but I think incomparable. Razz

Think more along the lines of trading some Green Irish Tweed cologne that has a few spritzes out of the bottle, or a 10 pack of premium Cuban cigars, with 1 missing, as it was a sampler.

Oh well, if there isn't a Moutai lover out there who would like to pay less than half for about 50ml missing at least I know I have options. Wink

When you go into a nice bar that has open liquor do you fear that people have peed in it?

I think you need a hug. Razz

By experience I'm sure some of the places water their booze down, someimes substituting well stuff for their top shelf. If the bar owner wanted to stay in business he wouldn't pee in the supply, but if he never planned on serving another drink to you he might play the ol' Me Chinese, Me play joke routine.

Anyway, if youre on the level, good luck with the sale. I just couldn't imagine buying used food or drink.

Cheers!

Hopefully someone takes it so I can convert the cash into cheap gin to enjoy.

If not, I'll keep it around at the family's for Chinese guests, I suppose.

They would probably appreciate it more than I do. Razz

You don't know what offers I've gotten via PM, for example. I've also explained (in a nice way) how "incomparable" your offer is.

Now please don't bother posting on the thread anymore. Very Happy

I was going to throw in a pork chop sandwich with only a tiny bite taken out of it, but it looks like you have hooked a big spender via pm.

And not incomparable at all! The deodorant is a BMW model, while the reconstituted soap bar it 2/3rds Armani and 1/3rd Rolex!!! Very Happy
