Someone mentioned that Americans are allowed to work in Korea without having to pay taxes (Korean taxes) during the first two years of employment. I don't know if this only applies to hogwans, public schools, or if it's just not true. But now, it got me thinking. Did my boss really take money out of my pay for taxes? Or did he take it out and pocket it? Is there a way I can check if he really did use it for taxes? |

Well, here it is: possible that he's pocketing it.
Here's what you do: if it's not much, don't fret OR if it's too much, get it lowered and then don't fret.
It it's like 3% or something, big deal. |
