Hey there,
I just send in my passport with visa application to the Chicago consulate to get my visa. Now all my documents passed through and now all I have to do is wait for my visa to be sent back to me. However I did notice that you have to check if you had a previous visa canceled. Last year I was one of the lucky CDI recruits to pass only half of the training, and with some very dodgy answers with no explanation as to why I didnt pass they told me that they were going to cancel my visa, but give me a tourist extension to look for a new job. Is this going to come back and bite me in the behind, or am I just worrying over nothing and might have to explain the situation? |

Apparently you already have your visa issuance number. If so, you have nothing to worry about. |
