I'm playing it on the Korean servers. It's compatible with the English client, lag is minimal, gameplay is excellent. The only downside is that I don't understand what the Koreans are saying, so I'm looking for a couple of English speakers to enjoy the game with.

I know there are not many WoW enthusiasts around here, but I thought I'd give it a try nonetheless. If anyone is interested, leave a reply and we'll work something out.

Out of curiosity, how did you get the English client to work on the Korean server?

I don't know how he does it now, but language switching is apparently going to be standard after the patch this week. The PTR client lets you toggle between any of them at will.

is korean WoW f2p or do you still have to pay a monthly fee?

where/when/how long do you usually play? I'd join if I found a way to use a pirated WoW to connect to a korean server:)

Hey! Sorry for the late reply.

Install the US client. Go to World of Warcraft/WTF/Config.wtf and replace SET portal "us" to SET portal "kr" and it will work perfectly.

There has always been a way to switch to the english client. In previous patches it was quite tricky, you had to modify some MPQ files if I'm not mistaken. Thankfully, they've now made switching clients very easy, and they plant to keep it that way.

It's not free to play but it's extremely cheap. 17.000 won for a month.

I'm Apathius on Norgannon. Whisper me in-game, I usually log on in the evenings after 10 and on week-ends.

Really 17,000 is expensive? It's like 17 orders of Gimbab a month.
