I dunno about Seoul but it stopped raining in Suwon about three hours ago. The sun even came out for an hour or so, but it's gotten overcast again now.

This. Haha. Reports call for a sunny day on Tuesday, but who knows, it is Korea we're talking about.

If it's like last year, it'll brighten up around mid September

Summer 2010 was terrible. I'm sure there must have been a record broken for the number of overcast days.

Welcome to 'summer' in the Korea!! (even though it's a bit cooler than usual-- I guess enjoy it?) It'll be like this, but much hotter till September, as someone mentioned...Can you take vacation? Do it soon!

My words exactly. Took vacation last summer and it was rainy and muggy the whole time. Pure BS! It was never like this before. August was always sunny and hot before. Last year and maybe this year, the weather is crap. Went to Tokyo last summer and it was sunny and hot. Came back here, still muggy and rainy. We gotta lobby the government to change the vacation times to spring and fall so that we can actually enjoy the nice weather.

But, on this topic, has anyone actually heard from a Korean if there is a prediction for this summer's weather?

Not directly from a Korean but there was a report in the paper a couple of weeks back that suggested it was going to be hotter and much more humid than last year......

i dunno about spring being a good time to have vacation, because the yellow dust certainly ruined that this year.
