| She and her sister have been running a school out of an apartment and she wants me to work there. I don't know how common that is in Korea or even how legal it is. I'm skeptical about how much revenue they're making and would be able to pay me, but I do know the lodging would be free since I would be living at their place. It's a girl I've known for a few years and I like her and want her to have success with her business. I wish I could work there as a second job, but I know that would violate an E visa. But if she can get me an E visa, I'll work for her. |
They are not allowed to hire E-2 visa holders, or F-visa holders for that matter. |

| Does she have to go to immigration in Seoul? The school is in a small town and she said she's having a hard time getting the visa stuff together. She brought up the idea of us getting married to make it easier to get a visa, but I told her I'd try to find out how to do the E-2. |

Well, if you marry her, she could be your sponsor for an F visa.
but if your only reason for marriage would be to work for her, I strongly advise against it.
