Look at the nook help site - no go on buying nook ebooks unless you have a US linked account which probally means you need to use a US credit card and address.
Get a Kindle. Amazon will ship it here and you can buy many Amazon ebooks and even pirated too. Thru there are some restrictions on books. A few books I have wanted you can not get or buy. For example like "History of the World in Six Drinks" Plus some subscriptions too. |

Only a fool pays for digital media (unless they have to)! Are you a fool? |

While I feel I should agree with this statement, the music industry in the UK has been ruined because of illegal downloads. Careful what you wish for. |

I'm currently in the US and have (and will maintain) bank accounts here, so if that's the only issue, I'm good to go. I was just worried that downloads outside the US might be blocked.
As for paying for digital media, I would pay for the print version, so I will pay for the digital version (although I will look for the best deal I can find). Call me a fool all you want, but I'm more interested in having integrity than impressing you. |

LCD screens are great for a lot of things, but extended reading isn't one of them. eInk is vastly superior. It lasts for a month, is super clear, and there is no eye strain. |

well played, sir.
if cost is a factor, however, you can't go wrong with a cheap tablet. |

Well, except that the readers are cheaper than the tablet mentioned in this thread |

I have a nook color and its awesome. It supports every format (including Kindle). Not too sure about ordering online because it's too damn easy to acquire titles for free. I have literally hundreds of books I just side load to my nook. Easy peasy, japaneasy. |

What u mean from korea?
I don't think they are sold here. I ordered mine online. Shipping was $30 and there were no import fees because the device is under $300. |
