It's a real pita/flatbread (no pocket, but far thicker than a tortilla,) and they toast it up against the heating element first, which is nice. It's the kebab shop right by the Quiznos, across from the Hamilton Hotel.

There's always a line, too. It's awesome to the max.

Nice site. I just bookmarked it. They must have not asked for the veggie discount, though!

Jester's Pies is open in Itaewon on that corner and it seems to be too busy. Plus, they seem to be having problems working out the kinks. The Korean employees seem lost and have to keep checking the recipe list. Give it a week or two before you visit unless you have time to wait.

I tried the Jesters Bundang last weekend and it was alright. If you get the lunch menu, it ain't so bad for the price. It isn't something I would eat regularly though. I'd only go for it only for a very light meal. The pies are really small and although they taste alright, they are really simple and kind of bland. I wish there were pies that have more 2 ingredients in them. Also the pies came out really fast. Like almost as soon as I ordered they had the food out. Seems like they get a bunch of pies premade.

I waited in line in Itaewon for about 20 minutes before I gave up, and I saw the Korean kids they hired to make the "authentic" Australian pies struggle with the recipes. They were pouring mixes and others were correcting them. Not good. They didn't train the employees for the "Grand Opening."

Like I posted- come back in a week or 2 when they have all of the kinks worked out.

Thanks for the heads up. I kind of want to check it out tomorrow anyway... Monday afternoon won't be such a busy time right?

A Monday afternoon should be ok. On Saturday, they were not prepared for any kind of line and, with that location, there's always going to be a crowd.

Jester's Pies has gotten nowhere near the zaniness that the Taco Bell opening did, therefore I have to assume it is nowhere near as good.

Fast food like that should inspire lunacy.

This is why Carl's Jr. isn't that good. If someone said a Carl's Jr. was opening in Itaewon it might get 3-5 pages.

Now if you said White Castle or In'N'Out is opening in Itaewon I guarantee there'd be at least 20 pages worth of posts.

I'll still give it a try, but I ain't holding my breath....
