Make sure everything is hooked up to the power supply. I had a brain fart with similar results once, fans spun up but nothing happened, turns out I forgot to plug this guy in,

| I checked out that speaker thing for the Coolermaster case......it's not built in to the case. You have to attach it. It's a little 3 inch wire in the plastic accessory bag. |

okay..That answers that. Actually, I think I chose this case based on your recommendation on a different thread. (I think it was you.) Anyways, it's a great case.
One issue that also has me concerned is that the front fan doesn't turn on, and it's LED light doesn't turn on either....I've hooked up both wires coming from it - a clear, fan wire, and the other kind, but it still isn't doing anything.
And so I don't know if that's tied into my other problems. I'm going to try hooking it up again to this monitor and see if anything works out.
I don't have an OS installed yet, but I have Windows 7 ready to be installed from a USB. I was told that on its first start, the BIOS should appear, and it should ask me where to boot from...? |

The front fan issue......is it possible that you haven't discovered the little button on the left side of the top input panel. The last button on the left. It turns the front fan LED on/off.
The BIOS won't appear unless you press 'Delete' on start up. Then you go to the 'First Boot Device', or whatever your motherboard calls it. Something similar. |

Regarding the front fan...I pushed the button but nothing ever happened...A store at Yongsan say they'll build a computer for 10,000-15,000won, so I might take it to him and see if he can do anything with it...At least that way, I'll find out if it was something I did, or if there's something wrong with one of my components..A small price to pay for peace of mind, I think.
Thanks for the help/advice....I'll repost after having someone w/more experience look at it.. |

Doubt its the ram anyways...would fail at the ram check surely?
2 recent build probs ive had
1)make sure the underclamps of the heatsink is the right way round (underneath the mobo/Cpu) i had a dodgy manual and it wasnt clear. I didnt notice one metal leg touching a sticky out bit of solder on the underside of mobo. Needless to say i have a new mobo now.
2)cpu fan is working? check and also heatink properly in contact using thermal paste.
Cant say if urs is anything like these...just throwin it out there |

There are 2 power connectors to plugin. It is easy to forget the 4-pin connector. On your board it is just between the top USBs and the big blue heat-sink.
Sorry if this seems obvious but I have seen this forgotten before - with a similar outcome to what you're experiencing. |
