if anyone can please advise...
approximately, give or take a few days, when does the summer vacation start and end?

my school's vacation starts on 7/22 and end on 8/28. It varies from school to school. give or take 5 days.  |

I have to come in from 9:00 - 10.30 from 18/7 - 5/8, not too thrilled about that.
then we get from 5/8 till the 29/8 off. |

mine (middle school in jeollanamdo):
Vacation starts: 18th July
Finishes: 18th August.
'Summer camp': 18th july-29th july. |
