Need to renew my E2 visa Degree checked by Korean Consulate?

I have never given immigration a certified copy of my degree.

I'm renewing this August so I guess they are going to want it.

I'm a UK citizen. Do I need to send my degree to the Korean Embassy in London? What else do I need to do? How long does it take?
