I have to take my vacation the first week of August which seems like when everyone else in Korea is going. I cant find a flight anywhere under 800,000. Any Ideas? Im not picky as long as its not Korea

2. go to kayak.com.

3. find a flight somewhere to suit your budget.

China or Japan seem to be within your price range.

The flight is one thing. Also you have to think about thew conversion of your cash and the cost of being there. Some countries are cheaper to travel around in than others, get more bang for your buck.

Yeah, some of the cheapest flights out of Korea make for some of the most expensive trips.

the cheapest are always Japan and China.

Japan will be very expensive, and China can be cheap or expensive depending on how you want to roll. The Chinese visa will clip you for nearly 200 USD though, which means it's simply better to go to the Phillippines or Thailand (next 2 cheapest destinations)..after Taiwan.. that's the 3rd.

the OP said he wants "out" of Korea. I understand perfectly. He needs a "korea" break. We all do.

in which case, he shouldn't really go to China or Japan which are too similar to Korea. He should go to SE Asia.

There's a saying made famous on Dave's: if it's not out of Korea, it's not a vacation.
