I'm done with my job on July 18 and I'm looking for the cheapest hotel/hostel/guesthouse options. I prefer to be as close to Itaewon or Hongdae as possible, but location doesn't really matter. Any suggestions? If possible (not a requirement), I'd like to find a place where I can play guitar late at night. Thanks

I would like to know more about Hostels. Hotels, motels get too expensive. If I could find a cheaper way to stay, I'd prob go more often. But do you have to share a room or can you get your own? As for the guitar playing, I assume you'd have to be quiet after a certain time and be considerate of other people.

I don't think they allow late-night guitar playing, though.

You're looking for a place to play guitar late at night in one of the most densely populated areas in the world?

I've stayed at a hostel in Seoul. It was full of Japanese, maybe one Euro dude. My girlfriend took me there and she was the first to feel that 'funny vibe' of hate. I didn't feel a thing, just stares. While I was checking in with an incredulous (mouth wide open) clerk, she went across the street and found a cheaper hotel where I had my own room as opposed to shared with 10 strangers.

As I walked out to the obvious relief of the clerk, a Japanese girl horked a wad of spit and slathered the wall with it, then looked at me, then walked inside the hostel.

Guess they didn't rike brak people there Shocked Confused Rolling Eyes
