Alright so my situation is...my program (TALK, public school) decided not to extend my contract and I'm still in shock and confusion (including the school that wants me back) since my first extension was a piece of cake. Have been here for a year and it looks like it's all over. Thing that sucks is, I don't even get time to decide whether or not it's best for me to stay or leave. In this kind of situation, I think it's best that I go since I have less than a month before I'm homeless and unemployed rather than job hunt like a madman in 3 weeks. However, although I'm 99% out of here and back in Canada, I'm making a last desperate attempt, with nothing to lose to see if I can stay. At this point I don't want to take any large risks and apply to hagwons that I don't know about, given the many stories I've heard about them when they go sour.

So, I'm looking for last-minute help that is reliable and low-risk. I'm in Busan right now, and I'm wondering if anybody is generous to tell me any school, hagwon, that is looking for August/September start that offers medium hours (20-30/week), preferrably a 6-month contract (if that even exists for hagwons) located in either Busan or Seoul. I'd like to know from the current employees of these schools or from people that know alot about them, if they don't mind sharing about them. At this point, I need to hear that it is INDEED a good place to work for me to consider it. Again, this is a last desperation attempt and I won't be going out searching for hagwon jobs that I don't know about.

If you know of any openings, please list the location (as well as local location), hours, salary, contract duration, qualification requirements, level of students.

My qualifications are a year of experience with kids with a Bachelor's Degree. Not certified.

Thanks guys

everything about this thread is fishy. why do you sound like a fugitive the entire post? why do you work for the talk program if you have a bachelors degree? why is applying for a hagwon a risk if youve already been here a year? do you not have enough money to simply live here on a tourist visa and find work? there are so many things I dont understand about this thread Confused the biggest being that you sound like someone who has never stepped foot in korea, did zero networking your entire year... just an overall sense of obliviousness

if you really want to stop on a bit longer....and not search like a madman for the next 3 weeks.....just stay in a hasukjib or goshiwon, super cheap and take your time for a bit.
