It's not in the Korea Android market, nor can I access the APK through Google's Web site: it's available for many, many countries, but not Korea. :-/ |

I am in the USA now and got onto the google site to install it on my Galaxy S. After logging in, it would not install, stating it was not compatible/allowed on my model number of phone because of the country (Korea).
I chose to attempt install over the web. Doubt choosing Android market would make much difference tho. |

Yes--I figured it out too. It's an okay app, not amazing, but I'm sure they'll improve it with time... |

In the thread I started about the alternative market you can download it there.
Like cedarseoul said not amazing but not bad. Will improve now that it is gaining in popularity. |

If your phone is rooted: Market Enabler (available on the market).
Run and fake a provider outside of Korea (T-Mobile in USA for example). Maybe note down the code for your original provider or hit the backup button once before faking.
When all is well, start the Market, and look for Google+. That's how I got it on my phone.
Neat side effect: The Games section of the market is now available to you, although perhaps you have to use Appbrain to search for games (just try which one works for you).
After you're done, start Market Enabler and return to default settings. If something goes wrong, just reboot the phone: settings will be restored.
As for now, Google+ is a very, very quiet place. I've invited about 100+ of my phone and Facebook contacts, but apparently they all thought it was a scam and deleted the invites (some of them have actually asked me for an invite days after that).
Oh, and the Android app is waaaaaaay from finished. There isn't even a long-press action yet, and circle management and a few other key features still only work on a real computer.
If you're into picture sharing. make sure you also download the free Picasa app (not from Google) which gives you much more control over your pictures than the G+ app. |
