|
|
I've think I read somewhere on the forum before that it is possible to do the interview over the phone. Since I have been hired and have my visa number, the school wants me to set up an interview as soon as possible. The closest one is in Chicago. I love Chicago but I'd much rather do a phone interview rather than spend the money and time, if not needed.
Has anything changed? Are there any of you out there that have recently done a phone interview rather than take the trek to the Korean Embassy in person?
Thanks in advance. |

I just called the Chicago consulate before I mailed my visa application. They said an interview was no longer required. |

I went to the Chicago consulate for my visa. There's no interview, phone or otherwise.
Give them your number, passport, picture and $45 and they'll have your visa in about 5 days. They prefer you to come and pick it up in person but they will mail it if you ask them.
Personally I would never miss the chance to see [and eat in!] Chicago but that's up to you |
