|
|
Hello everyone.
For anyone that has worked at/applied to a Poly campus--did you need to send them more than one apostilled diploma copy?
I was contacted by an HR person at poly, and this was part oF their email:
" According to the new E2 visa regulations (Effective Sep. 1, 2010), Apostillized copy of Academic Bachelor diploma will be accepted only.
n Include your Apostillized Academic Bachelor diploma from an accredited university or college (Bachelors Degree or higher).
n Please prepare two of them for the education of ministry and the other to the immigration office. "
It was always my understanding that I would only need one notarized, apostilled diploma copy for the visa. Getting another would cost another $50 and take another month! I emailed them to confirm if I really need two, so far I haven't gotten a response. I would go ahead and do it if I signed a contract already, but I don't know...
Anyone else from Poly have to get 2 apostilled diploma copies for the visa?
Or did any of you need 2 apostilled diploma copies, one for Immigration and one for the Ministry of Education?
If so, I'll get it done today, I just needed to hear your experiences before spending another $50 and a month....
Thanks, all your help is much appreciated. |

if you need two you need two. every school is different. poly has one of the better reputations among hagwons in korea so i understand that they want to register you with moe. some hagwons want your original as well for moe. also a simple copy of ypur degreewould suffice for moe so this school is making you jump through unnecessary hoops which sucks for you. if its too much hassle for you just find another job that only wants the notarized degree for kimmi. its not that complicated |
