Several men, in fact, said this � and didn't need evidence to support it. They offered up stories from their own lives instead: They'd been solicited by hotel maids, lied about by angry ex-wives, drained by gold-digging girlfriends who saw them as dollar signs.
This aspect of our culture needs to be confronted. What especially needs to be confronted are the armies of limp-wristed male gen-Y'ers who are only too happy to maintain the status quo until, confused at some point in their thirties, they realize that they are not a whole person but rather an emotional tampon in the "equal" relationship they have with the woman they have governing their lives and the purse strings.
Yes, men are physically stronger. Women have MUCH more legal power than men and they take it for granted that it can be misused because most 'men' let them. |
