Or should I say that it has many hard to find items? It's in Itaewon. Here's a picture with directions.

Is it cheap? No, but prices aren't outrageous, either. Just visit the store when you are in Itaewon and take a look at what is offered. Why do I like it? Because it has many things that I can't find anywhere else. What kinds of things? Let me list some of them.
hummus and other middle eastern items- look in the back refrigerators
dates
prunes
many different spices from around the world
many different pickles and pickled items
sauerkraut
varities of meats
many varieties of canned tomatoes and vegetables
jell-o known as "jell-y" in South Africa
I'm sure there are many that I am missing. The main point that I am trying to make is that the management of this store is doing it's best to be THE store for foreigners in Itaewon. They are stocking many varieties of items that cut across any ethnic or religious backgrounds of customers.
Just take a look at what is offered there. I was almost shocked to find something "All-American" like sauerkraut, ( it's German), and I'm sure you will find something you miss for sale there, too. This is a store that has constantly had newer items so you should check back whenever you visit Itaewon. |

I used to think almost all their items were cheaper than Korean stores but you should compare item by item if you want to be sure. Pasta is much cheaper than in Korean stores but Nutella is actually more expensive. The best item in my opinion at foreign market is the packaged indian curry. Tastes exactly like the curry they have at Indian places except they cost 4000 instead of like 9 or 10000. |

I really like Dandy's market by Hangangjin Station. They're generally a bit more expensive than Foreign Food Mart, but Dandy's carries some American items that Foreign Food Mart doesn't. Dandy's doesn't have a great selection of Indian/Middle eastern foods, though. |

High Street Market is the place to go for cheese, the other foreign markets are a bit weak in comparison. High Street can probably special order something for you as well, if you really need it. |

I would add jams to this list. I'm sick of the sugary Ottogi strawberry and apple jams -that's pretty much all you can find at Korean stores. At FFM you can find orange, apricot, black cherry, raspberry, blueberry and so on jams. Just bought some apricot here to make jam. Even the raw fruit doesn't taste anywhere near to the real one and the jam is also dissapointing. |

Most of the stuff in there is actually really foreign, as in I haven't got the slightest idea what I'd do with it, but there are sometimes things I want. Sometimes they have the good kinds of Ritter Sport when the Korean stores don't. It sucked when they stopped carrying the real mac and cheese and replaced it with the nasty Kirkland stuff.
I haven't been for awhile, maybe I should check it out again. Last time I just took a look around and didn't see anything I really wanted though. |

Where in Seoul is the High Street Market? I've never heard of this place. |

Itaewon. Go out exit 2 and walk for about eight minutes (past Praha and down the hill a bit). |

Saw today that they have Quaker whole oats (old fashioned). They only carried instant the other times I'd gone.
Used to have to go to Namdemun underground market (before 4 PM and not on Sundays) to get the old fashioned. |

I hate this store with a passion. Bought dried mangos and cheetos for 8000won. They do not let you haggle (if anyone does chime in).
Those dried mangos were something like $2 in Hong Kong. Freaking ripoff store and is one of those "once a year" things for me. |
