Search button doesn't seem to be working on this site for me, and anything through Google shows up advice some years old.
I have a friend that has been in Korea some 6 weeks now and landed herself in a position that the other teachers report she's the 4th teacher in a year. The teacher that stayed the longest before her lasted 4 months.
I'd like to help her get a different job entirely. Can anyone point me to relative recent threads with breaking contract advice or offer any here for us?

| No earthly idea what the name of the school is, didn't ask her. I just know it's one of those one-school deals about an hour and a half from Seoul. =) I'll ask her Sunday if I see her then, it's a bit hit and miss sometimes. |

| ~L~ Anyone I've known for 5 weeks is only an acquaintance, but people usually get offended with this distinction. If she was a friend, I would have known here much longer and so been able to clear the roads for her before she got stuck in a position like that. As it was, I was in shoulder mode and unaware of the 'name the school' demand here. I shall return with a school name when I've the opportunity. |

that's kinda harsh, dude. if you check her posting history, you'll see that she only posts once in awhile anyways. |
