Nah. With navet. |
If you had any EQ at all you'd realise how hurtful you can be... |

I think I usually do not have appropriate responses to others emotions...at least that's what my girlfriend tells me.
I don't want to be a zero-negative mommy |

I have no idea--I haven't taken the clairvoyance test yet, but I expect I won't be any better than average |

| 35 for me, seems about right. I'd say I was slightly below average |

given I'm convinced most people are idiots, serious concern for their thoughts, much less feelings doesn't particularly interest me, though I'll never go out to intentionally humiliate, embarrass or otherwise make uncomfortable any particular person, unless I feel they've done or said something to deserve it.
so 26 is probably surprisingly "high" for me |

I'm convinced that most people are convinced of this as well |

| Perhaps, but I'd argue the smart ones would include themselves in that majority. |

| The stuff about zero positives is very interesting. I have always been very keen on keeping up appearances and trying to figure out the correct emotional responses to new situations. Though, I don't have Aspergers, I do find myself consciously thinking "This person wants X response. I will give them X response so they feel satisfied and happy." I think this leads to me over-reacting at times. LOL |
This kind of behavior is often the result of growing up with a zero negative parent. (Or parents.)
I got 49. |

yet there are some quantitative measure that will tell you whether you're one of the "most people" or not |

The plague of all those dumb teen surveys that used to be huge - maybe they still are?
-----
Your best friend calls you up and reveals that he knows his girlfriend is cheating on him, but he doesn't know who the other guy is and asks you if you know anything. Do you:
(A) Deny knowing anything
(B) Tell him you think you saw her kissing the school jock at the football game
(C) Offer to come over and play XBox and talk about it later
(D) Tell him you're shagging her right now
Dumb teens then proceed to sit around and whine about how they've never experienced this, the answers don't suit them, blah blah blah. Then they whimper about getting Optimus Prime as the answer to the "What Transformer are you?" quiz when answering D should clearly mean they're Grimlock.
-----
A lot of the questions really have to be generalized a bit more to make any sense. I don't like these tests because it often seems like it's more how you subjectively perceive yourself as you think of a few sparse interactions that might help answer the question, rather than an objective observation of your personality.
My 45 EQ made me harumph a bit, but I almost never strongly agreed or disagreed with anything, seems about right I suppose. |

Yes, and as a lifelong educator and SAT/AP prep teacher, I am convinced that those measures are profoundly flawed (if not altogether useless) . |

perhaps, but there are others.. more "real time", life based.
one example would be: if you were buying or borrowing against your house from 2005 onward like most other lemmings and did you really think house prices would continue rising. |
