"I spent my savings PLUS went over $27,000 into debt to take this trip, but it was a life-changing experience!"
ugh, that's not very inspirational to me...if he could have gotten Coke to pay for his trips afterwards since he pretty much promoted their product like crazy, the video might make more sense to me
i think anyone who could travel the world and go go almost $30 grand in debt plus spending all savings would get a life-changing experience |

1, 000 people have "liked" that video, but I don't get it. Guy sounds like he has an agenda. And why Coke, as if they need any free advertising. US $27, 000 in debt to give free advertising to Coke? The story's insane.
Reminds of the kid you danced all over the world doing his little jig for that bubble gum company. At least he had a financial / support arrangement in palce with the gum maker for his trips. |

I liked it. I think it's interesting that coca-cola truly is the world drink. It really is everywhere. I remember my friend telling me that he was hiking up some crazy barren mountain in Peru, there were no humans around for days. Except a boy who happened to be selling coca-colas, way up the mountain, charging like $1 for a can (which is expensive there I guess).
Anyways, I think going into debt $27,000 for this trip is just the same as going into debt for an education. Travel like that is worth a university degree in my opinion. You learn just as much from it, not to mention, you tell people you've traveled to all those places... and they respect it. |
