Yup, my daughter is choked with this.

She's asking "who took the English??". lol

Edit: we keep getting an error msg when we try to change the language... And this is during an English program like Mickey's Club House.

You can also get the non-Koreanized channel CBeebies of the BBC on Skylife (and other cable providers, I presume).

Dude, Skylife has probably the most channels in English, and Olleh TV (formerly Qook TV) will have even fewer channels.

+1.

i'm going to file a class action law suit against skylife because they won't let me dish them without paying penalties. they're just insisting on renewing contract and buying a new hd box.

Anyone know how to do this for Hello D cable? I tried to follow the instructions for the other cable network listed, but I guess the menus are completely different.

We are now using veetle.com to my ipad hooked up to the tv. Just not as convenient though.

Thanks again all.

So basically, you're going to file a class action lawsuit because you don't want to follow your contract?

Good luck.

On another note, Skylife is brining back alot of English shows on disney, however it won't be 100% in English anymore. The wife said too many people were complaining so Skylife is trying to do something about it.

my lawyer informed me that, for those who are still subscribed to analog skylife which will become absolete at the end of 2011, following will be offered:

1. they will offer free analog service until end of 2011 to compensate removing many channels starting this month.
2. skylife will provide free hd box if the subscriber decides to renew their contract. if not, no penalty for early cancellation.

now, i'm happy. Razz

Hopefully people will need neither satellite dish or cable once IPTV explodes onto the scene and provides limitless channels from anywhere in the world.

Which all sounds like standard fare anyways. Was the lawyer really necessary?

Really?

I would imagine it gets quite annoying for him.

"Hey, It's Ramen again, Skylife is taking away the disney channel, what are our legal options?"

actually, i have two lovely assistants at my school to help me with these things like setting up internet, skylife, phone, etc. however, they're are kind of bonehead when it comes to arguing with the customer service people.

as for the lawyer friend, we sorta have business/friendship relationship. i sometimes do a little translation for him and he helps me with my little problems. it's nice, because koreans will actually listen and bend when lawyers speak. Razz
