| if you want to leave your current job at a hogwan, you have to give 2 months notice, right? is this law? what happens if your employer gives you trouble, like, say, tries not to pay you or something? |

Sarah,
Its 30 days notice.
Then it sometimes gets complicated depending on your situation, employer, reason for leaving..ect...
There might also be contractual issues if you resign before a certain time in contract. These might include paying back the airfare that got you here (if the school paid for it).
If things go smoothly (or if they don't and you stick to your guns) you just get your release and either leave Korea or look for other employement.
Finally, since we know nothing of your particular situation it is rather difficult to offer sensible advice....  |
