just curious, i've frequented other sites like Car sites or Gaming sites where for cars, we've had car meets and for gaming, clan members meeting each other at conventions

so have any of you met anyone on here or know someone IRL?

i think it would be kinda interesting if i was teaching and met someone who posted on Dave's |

we knew each other in real life BEFORE we knew who each other was here. and he's one of the most awesome dudes i've ever met.

he doesn't come on too often anymore, though. which sucks, 'cause he's one of those "voice of reason" kind of dudes. |

Had a poster join our monthly Bukhansan hike just this last Sunday. Nice guy glad I met him and hope he joins our hike again in the future.

				| I've met three people who live in my city who posted on here that they hadn't met any other foreigners. I PM'd them and we met up. Other than that, I've met two others. They seemed pretty nice. |

I've met one or two, and they felt like they had to comment that I was such a nice guy in person, nothing like I seem on Dave's.

Score! Exactly my aim! |

The other guy came and bought a phone from me not too long ago. He was also a nice guy. I let him know where the black markets were around here, If I had time I would have taken him down there myself..but I was working. |

lol

There used to be somewhat regular parties organized some years back - usually in Seoul. So a lot of the long-term posters living in Seoul have all met each other.

So yes, I have met a poopload of people, though most no longer post, found greener pastures, whatever.

Nobody has organized a party in quite a long time. I know they're a bit lame, but I'm surprised no one has even mentioned the idea lately. |
