it's nice to have a lawyer friend. Razz

I would imagine it gets quite annoying for him.

"Hey, It's Ramen again, Skylife is taking away the disney channel, what are our legal options?"

actually, i have two lovely assistants at my school to help me with these things like setting up internet, skylife, phone, etc. however, they're are kind of bonehead when it comes to arguing with the customer service people.

as for the lawyer friend, we sorta have business/friendship relationship. i sometimes do a little translation for him and he helps me with my little problems. it's nice, because koreans will actually listen and bend when lawyers speak. Razz

I fully understand the value of having a good lawyer friend (or in my case relative).

However, shouldn't their services be preserved for something serious? Not petty stuff that can be resolved just by speaking to customer service.

We have Qook. The Disney Junior is also in Korean. My wife manipulated the controller to get the shows in English. You have to change it everytime you go to the channel. The commercials are in Korean but the shows are now in English. The life of a 4 year old goes on. Even though the first day was a killer. Very Happy

Playhouse Disney is gone on C&M!

That's right. Playhouse Disney is now completely gone and regular Disney has reappeared for the first time in three years on my C&M. I don't know whether this is temporary or not. This is the only way they could actually make the situation worse though.

Playhouse Disney no longer exists. It changed to Disney Junior on July 11th.

Just to be clear, C&M dropped Disney Junior for The Disney Channel.

My provider, Hello TV, airs both channels, in Korean only. My wife called customer service and was told the English versions will be back next month. I'm not holding my breath.

C&M did some channel restructuring today. Some of my channels are working sporadically, and AXN isn't working at all (no big loss). I've had a quick flick through, and their was something called BBC Knowledge, which looks promising. Other than channels moving around, I haven't noticed many other differences.

However, we still have Disney Junior (formerly Playhouse Disney) - Channel 425.

Different areas may have slightly different setups. I'm in Seongbuk Gu.
