Going back to the op...

In my previous residence at Bongcheon 4-dong, there was store called 119 Ĵ.

But no, it wasn't a house of ill repute. It was actually a computer store. It is supposed to be "Com Doctor."

Ok, there seems to be a lot of complaint about the notable absence of the "f" and "h" consonant sounds in Korean.

The best way to approach it is to pronounce them in the same as the Japanese sound "" (katakana for "" or . It's a pretty good comparison, especially for those who are familiar with this sound.

You the "" or "" bastardisations are really out of laziness. I absolutely detest them, especially when there is a closer equivalent without missing a heartbeat.

French Fries - フレンチフラーイス or ķġ Ķ̽

This is far superior (in my opinion) to ġ . God, what an abomination that is, and I think it can be attributed to laziness.. :)

The other day I go into Lotteria and ask for a "cheezuh buggah" in the American dialect and man they had a hard time trying to figure that one out.

Trying to read the Hangul is one thing, but try having a Korean who is used to the Korean pronunciation understand what you are trying to say.

Do you think it would be a good idea to stop putting so much English into hangul? Most Koreans recognize the English behind the hangul anyway. Or keep the hangul perhaps for the korens who don't? Guess I answered my own question. Keep it for those who don't?
