|
|
Hey everyone,
My FBI background check is taking a while to get back to me, so I want to have the apostille rushed. I was considering using the company uslegalization.com, which does it for around $40.
This seems like a better idea than having the apostille done through regular mail, which I heard could take a month.
Has anyone else used this service before, and if so, are they reliable?
Thanks,
Mike |

I don't know about the less expensive service. There's always a reason for it being cheap.
US Legalization: This one look like a farm land, which is odd??? Out of no where in the boonies.

US Authentication: When I google Us authentication - It show that it's a house.

The owner of this business did not state that this is a house. This is a house, not a business - according to the address on the website.

In case anyone else is looking for info on uslegalization, I just used them. I fedex'd them my CRC on Monday and got it back with the apostille on Thursday morning. Cost was $45, plus you have to include a prepaid return envelope. They sent me an email when they received it letting me know when I could expect to get it back. Just make sure you follow their directions on what to include, and everything should go smoothly. |

^^^ I'm so happy you posted that! I've been waiting on my CBC for almost 8 weeks, so I was planning on using uslegalization for the apostille. I was a little hesitant, though, since I hadn't heard of anyone using them. |

Those who have used uslegalization, what sort of prepaid return envelope did you provide? Is it advisable to just print a postdated label online at usps.com or Paypal and stick it on an envelope? |

I used FedEx. I included a FedEx envelope addressed from them to me, and then on the side where you fill in the payment info I checked the "bill recipient" with instructions to collect payment upon delivery. I think they tell you to use FedEx or UPS because they're quicker and you'll have tracking numbers that way. |

This is probably a hit or miss service since it's operated out of a house. What happens if the one person there get sick or something? The FBI check takes like 8 weeks to get. Additionally, the thing I'm worried about is payment and my information. Where do they put it? I have some money in my account and the last thing I want is for it to float around somewhere in someone's house. I understand if people want to take the risk though.
I did some search on this biz and someone wrote this about them...

I wish I would have known that this place is out of no where. I sent in my FBI background check to get it apostille and didn't get it on time. It's not even close to 1 business day. I had to call multiple times for status update and I couldn't really understand them. Also, they add on fees, they make you pay for return shipping, so it's not that cheap.
It's not professional and it's out of no where. I don't feel confident now because where do they store my billing information. In their house?"

A little bit more expensive than some, but reliable. |

Authxperts is going to shut down for only one week next week to deal with the back-log. They do this yearly. Today is Wednesday.
I called them yesterday and they said that if I send the package (the document-to-be-Apostilled, the application form, and $75) Tuesday, they would receive it Wednesday, it would be processed Thursday, and it would be delivered to me on Friday.
Any other reliable suggestions coetivy89? |

They're not that reliable, it's probably B.S. what they're telling you. Authxperts also work out of a condo.

There's ANOTHER place that work out of their condo. US Authentication

They're selling their condo/house according to zillow real estate. So if they are in escrow while you send your FBI check, you're probably screwed. Funny how the owners of the business aren't telling customers they're selling their condo. I wonder if you send in your documents and it's just going to lay at their front door while the new tenants are there, they don't even know what's going on.

not sure about now, but I got my CBC apostille quick from USauthentication (this was in August). Quick response and everything looked professional to me. |

There have been problems with people spamming this board with testimonials about Apostille Pros. Every once in a while the names would change but the content of posts remained similar. It also seems that whenever someone mentions an apostille service that is not Apostille Pros in a thread people almost always appear who try to discredit it. |

People said you can do the apostille in your state if the state allows it. If not you select a state that allow it cause dos is backed up for months.
