I've only been in Korea for a few weeks, I know my Visa is a single entry E-2. I asked my boss about getting it changed to a multiple entry and he told me that as long as I have my ARC card, I can leave and come back, and my visa is fine.
This sounds wrong to me, can someone please go over this with me? Is it safe for me to leave the country for my summer vacation assuming I have my ARC card by then?
Thanks |

The law was changed in Dec. 2010. After that date, ALL registered foreigners (have an ARC) are free to leave and return without need of a re-entry permit for as long as your ARC remains valid.
