Would I be able to use a at&t blackberry in Korea by just using a korean sim card? |

Yes...
First, make sure the phone is unlocked before you leave the US. I don't know what AT&T's policies are about this, but if the phone is locked you won't be able to use it in Korea.
When you arrive in Korea bring the unlocked phone into a phone shop (SK Telecom is the Blackberry provider in Korea. You could probably use the phone with another provider, but as far as I know only SK offers the special Blackberry data plans, BIS or whatever it's called.) In the shop they will register the phone to the Korean network and then you can sign up for any plan you want and you'll get a sim card. |

actually, you cant just bring it to any shop. you have to bring it to a service center and they have to register it. if you are central seoul you can go to yongasn ipark, or technomart if you arent scared of the building collapsing. lol
if you are on the north part you can go to the one in between Mia and Suyu station.
if you're outside of seoul, just phone SK and ask them for your closest location. |
