This system is modified (modded) to play copied/burned games. If you have a DVD burner and some blank discs you can download any game you want for free from the internet and play it on this console.

As a result, this console has been banned from the Xbox Live service (standard practice when Microsoft detects modded consoles). What does this mean?

If you don't plan to connect the console to the internet it means nothing. You can still play games and use all of the offline features.
If you want to play online games over the internet, it is not possible. If you're looking to play online, do not buy this. (I want to make this perfectly clear)

A few more details... The console was manufactured 2007/08/18. It's a Korean model. This means it plays Asian region games and Korean region DVD movies. It has a 220V Korean style power cable. The langue can be set to English. I've never had any problems with the system (no red rings or anything like that). It has an HDMI port, but HDMI cable is not included (you can buy a cheap one anywhere if you need it). All of the games included are burned copies. There are no original games. I"m willing to meet buyers in the Seoul area, and I can also ship it if you're outside of Seoul (at buyer's expense). If you want to test it out or see how it works before buying you're more than welcome, but you'll have to come to my house (nearest subway station is Cheolsan/철산 Line 7)
