And besides, who could stop Iran? The same American and British militaries that are losing in Afghanistan? The same Israeli military that lost to a political party's militia in Lebanon? The Urban Myth? Junior? Me?

Let's face reality. The UK and the USA are technically bankrupt. Our military and civilian populations are soft and spoiled. We're incapable of telling other countries how it's going to be the way we could in the past.

Military intervention is not the only thing that could stop Iran. If stopping Iran at all costs was the goal either the USA or Israel could turn the country into a glow-in-the-dark parking lot. But fortunately for the local population it's not. Hence the sanctions.

A simple strike on natanz would be welcomed by all the neighbours, wether they publicly admit it or not. Saudis would be turning a blind eye to israeli jets flying overhead. Probably giving them the thumbs up.

As Leon has demonstrated, irans deranged leaders need a lobotomy. They're pretty much the last country on earth you would want to be in possession of nuclear weapons.

main diifference is..Israel does not want to use nukes, Iran does.

But likewise, Iran could fire the bulk of its long range missiles at Dimona, which is a Samson option available to the Iranians. The nuclear plants in the USA are also vulnerable to sabotage and attack.
