I'll be teaching for CDI starting the end of August. I hear they pair me with a realtor during the first week but would be great if I could have my housing set up by the time I got there. If not housing, some good furniture and entertainment.
Anyone here moving out around this time and wants to get rid of some stuff, go ahead and post it here and I might be willing to take it off your hands.
I'll be teaching in Seocho! |

Aren't they giving you housing? Sheesh, CDI are bigger criminals than I thought, most of the time they already have a place for you.
Good luck getting your pension and insurance, you'll need it. |

They only give you housing with the salary pay structure. I'm getting paid hourly. Wow is CDI really that bad? I have two cousins that have worked for them and says it sucks but not unbearable. I guess it depends on your branch.
Anyone with personal experience with CDI? |

sent you a pm message. I teach at CDi Bangbae - closest branch to Seocho. My contract ends soon so looking to move out. Seocho should give you 5 million won for key money. ask me anything about CDi, I'll tell you what I know. |

I registered about a month ago and can't initiate PM's. I'll definitely get back to you as soon as I get my post count up. |

I thought that if you don't pass "initiation" or training or whatever, they can fire you? I thought a lot of people said that about CDI. I may be mistaken, I've never worked there. Well, you've got relatives that worked there, maybe they know.
Something to think about before plunking down cash on a place. |

I had one cousin work at CDI in Busan and another in Seoul - both said the job sucked (most jobs suck anyway) but they didn't tell me NOT to do it.
everyone here makes it seem like some sort of sweatshop. Again.. I guess it depends on your branch. (?) Kind of like how people say school sucks but if you get a good teacher its great. |

Hey Joe - do you mind sending me your email address? I can't PM you for another 20 posts and I don't want to clutter the forum up more than it needs to be with my non-sense.
Cheers! |
