And CO2 was talking about the stuff that comes in big plastic jugs, as a minor offshoot of the Strawberry Milk. I can't magically guess you're talking about breast milk when everyone else is talking about the jugged stuff, context or not. |
Isn't breast milk " jug stuff " ? |

Actually, I don't really like strawberry milk. It was all a lie. |

Actually, at this point (6 weeks) I could handle breast milk without the milk. I don't think that makes any sense. |

I wish I'd read this thread before this month.
I seem to impulsively pick up a carton on my way to work everyday now.
I switched to chocolate one day but missed the strawberries.
What's really sad is I pass huge bowls of strawberries for sale on my way home and it just makes me think about the milk.
Ah, the land of milk and honey. |

Plus people are naturally lactose intollerant. But by ensuring we drink milk every day, it prevents the onset of this in most people. |

Breast milk is for babies. Cow milk is for cow babies.
Just thought I'd be more specific. |

i use to hook into a flavored milk every morning at work in australia, 1 shot style.. i kept having to go to the toilet in a very urgent fashion 15 - 20 minutes after i drank the milk.. i though it was cuz i use to put beer on my coco pops.. i went to a kinesiologist for back pain and after a few tests he told me i could never drink milk again.
how i miss upending liters of the stuff |

I'm not sure what "lactose intolerant" is. I've never had the slightest indigestion from drinking milk, not even from eating ice cream, sour cream, yoghurt, 1/2 & 1/2 cream, etc.
And I'm not alone.
But I've also heard many people have problems with it. I assume it feels like a stomachache? Or like eating too many beans, but without the gas. I just don't know...
As for the health benefits, we can agree to disagree. I'll stick with what nourishes the young and helps them grow strong (and skip the calcium-rich broccoli in favour of milk, and green leafy veggies I actually like the taste of).
Goats milk is great too.
IMO and by my taste. |

Has anyone tried the Korean soy milk? I love soy milk in the states, but I've never tried the Korean kind. |

I like the melon milk myself, it's my favourite. The mango milk is also pretty darn tasty. |
