I looked online and i was told that it takes 2 days to get the visa once I hand in my passport. Is there anyway to get it before that (expedited process in person)?

Yes and only a select few I know (including me) are able to do this. But if I tell you how to do it, everyone else will jump on the bandwagon and next thing I know the trick won't work anymore. you'd be nuts to post something like that out on the open for everyone to steal.Razz

At a consulate in Asia it is overnight at most and up to 4 days at some (like Manila). There is no "expediting" a work visa.

Under EXCEPTIONAL circumstances (like you need your passport for a flight the next morning to a 3rd country) they will sometimes do same-day service or sometimes they will just tell you to return to apply after your trip.
