Where is he from? Canada? I thought he said he was American, my bad Julius.
From their census: This question collects information on the ancestral origins of the population and provides information about the composition of Canada's diverse population.
17. What were the ethnic or cultural origins of this person's ancestors?
An ancestor is usually more distant than a grandparent.
For example, Canadian, English, French, Chinese, East Indian, Italian, German, Scottish, Irish, Cree, Mi'kmaq, Salish, Mtis, Inuit, Filipino, Dutch, Ukrainian, Polish, Portuguese, Greek, Korean, Vietnamese, Jamaican, Jewish, Lebanese, Salvadorean, Somali, Colombian, etc.
And: The Korean people are an ethnic group originating in the Korean peninsula and Manchuria.[10][11] Koreans are one of the most ethnically and linguistically homogeneous groups in the world.[12]
And: According to the United Nations conventions, there is no distinction between the term racial discrimination and ethnicity discrimination.
Glad we cleared that up! |

Over the last few pages it appears you came of across irrational, and now attempting to assassinate his character. Which left me wondering, since you firmly believed he is racist where there are some Koreans behaved in a similar manner toward foreigners in your 2nd home you are residing why are you raging on him. What drives you?
For the record, I have read many of Julius's posts over the years and thoroughly enjoyed reading his posts in this thread. He is anything but racist. |

Okay, okay, Julius is Martin Luther King and Mandela and Gandhi all rolled into one.
Let's get back to his utter, utter fail of logic and how that suggests that his other observations must be taken with a grain of salt.
Julius still hasn't really owned up to it. "Yeah, okay point taken, but" is not a sufficient owning up to the utter fail that he did.
I mean the guy is talking about irrationality and he was the one who chose a 1/100 person as the norm. Rational people don't do that.
So yes, let's stick to the issues and the "analysis". |

If you're going to call someone irrational. At least write in manner that is coherent. I'm not asking for 100% accuracy. But come on...
Furthermore, I have backtracked multiple times on my original statement of him being racist. I am arguing he said racist things but not out of malice. Please keep up.
I don't understand your question at all. If you're asking why do I get upset when someone makes a racist comment about Koreans, when they themselves do racist things? My answer would be 2 wrongs don't make a right and not all Koreans are racist. |

I don't know what kind of analysis any of us should expect upon examining this kind of incident. What is there to say? Ignorant woman encounters seeing eye-dog on subway; fails to understand; throws fit.
The very uselessness of it is what compels people to criticize articles on subjects like these. |

Exactly. It's nothing to use to label an entire race over. |
