I need a truck to move some things. I'm not moving house, just a few large and fairly heavy things from one place to another, that won't fit in a taxi. Is there a company I can call for this? Will a moving company do it? Or will that be more expensive? I haven't used any services like this, so I don't know where this would fit in. Also, it goes without saying, I don't want to pay a lot of money-- I have to move the stuff back in a few days, so the cheaper the better.

Thanks in advance!

Ask a Korean friend/co-worker about it. Usually an adjosshi with a Bongo truck will do this for a reasonable fee.

You can get an ajjoshi in a bongo truck for 50,000 won for a couple of hours. 100,000 won if you want him to physical move the boxes for you.

The friendly folks at the Global Center for Foreigners - Itaewon office will be happy to help you line someone up to do this. They've lined someone up for me for a couple of moves.
