Hey guys,

I lost my cell phone at the weekend, more than likely on a train between Busan and Daegu, I've tried to recover it from Korail but have had no such luck (they don't really seem to have a lost and found place to ring so just ended up calling Daegu station)

I haven't actually gone to the phone shop yet, I'm just wondering what sorta fines I'll be looking to pay? It was an Optimus Big so it's quite a disaster!

I'm pretty sure that I have insurance on my phone with my payplan, has anyone actually had to try and claim a phone through this before and did they have any luck?

I'm sorry to hear about your phone. If you send me an email at [email protected] I'll give you a promotional code to give you one of our used phones since you lost yours.

Everything we do is aimed at making things more convenient for foreigners in Korea. You order online, www.thearrivalstore.com and we'll have the phone to you in a day or two no ARC necessary.

Here are some quick details about our phone plan:
$125 fully refundable deposit because it is a post paid contract phone
$69.99 for new phones

1. Average monthly bill $35-$45 (1100 free mins to all Arrival Store and LG Customers)

2. Great phones with features like: caller id, camera, mp3 player, and Korean/English dictionaries, etc.

3. Phone is set up and ready to use upon arrival vs. waiting 4-6 weeks for your Korean ID

4. No large unexpected long distance bills and highly discounted or FREE international calls.

5. 6 month contract with no renewal fees (shortest in Korea)

6. No need to add minutes to the phone, and call-out rate 1/3 as much of a pre-paid phone

7. Simple and convenient English billing

Let me know if you have any questions.
