I ate there about a year ago. It's a hole in the wall near the back gate of Konkuk University. The owner lived in Boston (?) for several years before coming back to Korea. The sandwich was good, but waaaay overpriced. I still live in the area, but haven't been back there. Whenever I walk down that side street, I think "Oh, yeah. I should come back here for lunch sometime." But the food was just not that memorable and it doesn't cross my mind. I definitely wouldn't go too far out of my way to eat there. With all that said, he's been in business over a year now and it's not a high-traffic area. He's getting customers from somewhere, so maybe the food has gotten better since I tried it. I'll ask around and see if any of the Konkuk crowd eats there regularly.

Waaayy overpriced??? I dont know what you were eating :roll:
Prices are reasonable and no worse than eating at Subway, Kraze burger etc.
The most expensive one I seen was 9000won and included fountain soda.
The owner told me he buys all his ingredients from U.S. and if you want to customize a sandwich, then you can.
Is is tricky to find. The street its on looks like just homes/villas, but youll see it eventually. It isnt in a highly populated place

As for the sandwich, its huge and he puts a lot of meat, onions and green pepppers on it. Couldve had a tad more cheeze but I didnt ask for extra.

Its 10x better than the garbage at subway. They barely put any meat on a steak/cheeze sub at Subway

I WOULD go out of my way to eat there again. Check it out!

Can anyone give directions for those who don't know Korean?

It looks as if you need to head out exit three of Konkuk Univ. Station and walk straight along the western side of the university toward Children's Grand Park. You'll eventually approach an intersection of some sort with Holly's Coffee across the street on the left. You will want to turn right at that intersection and head up the road. You should hopefully see it.
