I have 6 not-so-heavy, medium-sized boxes that I need to take to the post office tomorrow morning to mail back home. It's not that far (about a 10-minute walk downhill) but with all this rain, I'd like to do it all in one shot without getting them too wet.

That being said, if you have a car and can spare about 5-10 minutes of your time tomorrow morning around 9am (Friday) to drive me and these boxes from the upper part of Haebangchon to the post office down by Noksapyoung station, I will be ever so grateful and give you 20,000won. Thanks in advance!!

If only you lived in a country where taxis are cheap and plentiful. . .

I'm quite aware of the cheap taxis. I've been here for nearly 5 years. But dealing with soggy boxes in the rain? No thanks.

Okay, on a serious note here's what I would do:

1. Put the boxes in garbage bags so they don't get wet.

2. Call for a minivan taxi. They will load and unload your boxes for you.

Thanks for the suggestion! Very Happy You probably know that Korean garbage bags aren't exactly Hefty quality or size but I'll definitely keep your suggestion in mind (it would be the money-saving option) and try to scrounge around to find some bags that will fit over the boxes. ^^

I think the post office by Noksapyoung was torn down. Maybe you should go to the one in Itaewon across from McDonalds.
