Wonderful advice, except that the person won't be able to get another work visa issued for 11 months. |

Strange to hear this pearl of wisdom from gord after he argued so vehemently the opposite (that its fairly easy to change jobs here) on a different thread only a couple of weeks ago.   |

Only I haven't changed my stance. If you bolt the country and come back, it's exponentially harder to get permission to get a new work visa. If it's handled before doing the bolting, it's far easier to the point I know several people personally who have done it. |
