There is a place called Sono Felice right across the street. It is REALLY NICE, like luxury nice. But it is EXPENSIVE, without a membership. Stayed there twice. The jimjilbang is really nice. The spa is great too.

There is a Youth Hostel next to Ocean World, high rise condominiums behind the car park and various pensions along the road up there. ( It is a ski resort during winter so plenty of accomodation)

Caribbean Bay is older but still ok. Indoor area much better than Ocean World. Mandatory swim caps.

Ocean World has good rides, wave pool etc. Food and seating areas better than CB. Mandatory life jackets!!

OW has better prices, maybe 'cos further away from Seoul. Foreigner discounts ( take ARC), (50,000w down to 30,000w, also got free life jacket rental -save another 5,000w)
Dedicated Shuttle buses are available to both places.

For either park, arrive early ( at opening ) or late ~6pm for evening session. Crowds are mental at this time during most of the day. 1-2 hr waiting times for rides are normal.

sk.

Hate to resurrect an old thread, but can anyone verify the information about this youth hostel and the foreigner ARC discount? I'd like to get a bunch of my coworkers to go, but I don't want to ask them to shell out $50 for it.

Which one currently advertises with "Experience the CLIMAX" framed by two sexy girls and a huge water fountain ejaculation in the background? Am I the only one who's experienced the wrong kind of stimulation through this ad (seen in subway cars)?

I suspect that may be deliberate.

I wonder if the ad agency hired a native speaker who decided to have a little bit of fun with the wording.

I forgot what it said, but the Korean tagline had a similar message.
