I'll make it quick, mine runs out in exactly 2 months but I'm going to be going away for a month. Is it possible to renew 2 months before the end of the visa?
Also, what documents are needed for a renewal?

Called immi before i renewed mine and they said you can get it done up to 3 months before the end date. I got mine done with about a month left oon it. And it wont reduce your visa expiry for next year. I have a year and a month left on mine now.
As for documents...as far as i know you just need your marriage certificate and your f2 alien card - that's all i needed. The marriage cert needs to have been issued within the last 3 months. Bring your wife just in case to smooth out any problems. |

| If you have a child also bring their birth certificate, depending on the office/officer it may get you a longer extension. |
