They're part of the same country though |
Britain isn't a country. 10 year old level Geography. |
You're being pedantic. I was just trying to make the point that England/Scotland can in no way be compared to Austria/Germany, Netherlands/Belgium, Canada/USA etc. Yes, technically GB is a soverign state made up of 3 countries but for all intensive purposes GB is one country and is recognised as such across the world (and by most people living within the UK, IMHO). |

We both qualify as locals in our respective countries Uni systems which is very handy for both countries students. It saves huge amonunts of money
We can both live and work in each others countries for as long as we like
We love to take the P##s out of each other as much as posible, especially during sports or cultural talks, well any talks really.
The one huge distinction is that when we are overseas (away from our respective homelands) we have each others backs at all times and generally get on very well. We have a natural affinity, sense of humour and background (ANZAC's fighting together in many wars).
This cannot be said for Canadians and Americans from what I've witnessed (in many different countries around the world, not just here).
So, to answer your question, no, we're much more civilised... |

| Gosh. I started a thread about Scottish independence without even meaning to. Normally it takes weeks of hard trolling to get that far. |

Yeah, your right. I edited that post a load of times to try and be as sensitive as possible. I never actually meant to refer to it as the UK at all cause I felt bringing Northern Ireland into the equation would only muddy the waters further. |

i completely agree with this. my ex was a kiwi, and she was one of the most amazing people i've ever met. aussies and kiwis seem to be naturally supportive of each other in this country, and it's a really cool feeling.
which is great for me, because it seems like there are kiwis literally everywhere here. |

Oh we get your drift alright, but your drift is ----ing idiotic. England is not synonymous with Britain, and Russia is not synonymous with the USSR. Those are real distinctions, unlike the three examples you sandwiched in between. End. |
