Has anybody any experience of backing out of a job offer after sending off your documents and signed contract or even after receiving their visa issuance number or visa? what are the repercussions?
I most probably am going to be accepting an offer and sending my documents and contract to a school soon but due to some personal reason I may need to back out before leaving and find another job a to start a month or so later, this most probably won't be the case but I just want to know of any people's experiences, for example after they have already issued you the visa number are you then not allowed to get another E-2 visa?
I tried to search this but as always the search doesn't seem to be working. |

If they have applied for the visa confirmation number you will NOT be able to:
i) use the same documents again - you will need new ones for a new application (your old ones will be gone).
ii) able to re-apply for a visa confirmation number again until the first one expires (90 days from date of issue). Immigration won't allow you to have 2 valid visa confirmation numbers at the same time and you can't cancel the existing one.
Other than that there is nothing to prevent you from applying, changing your mind and trying again later.
