* What do you buy to keep low-carb in Korea?

* What are the low-cost options that you've discovered?

* What are some of your favorite (easy) low-carb meals?

I buy the big frozen bag of vegetables from costco. I get chicken breasts by the kilo from my local grocer. I cook all of them in a frying pan.

The chicken skewers from the street food carts.

I liked the documentary 'Fat Head'. Easy to download online. Also Rob Wolf's blog/books and Mark's Daily Apple blog.

I buy the big bag of frozen tilapia from nicedeli.com (now it's called nicemarket.net) because each piece is individually wrapped so they don't stick together. I usually have a nice big salad and bake a filet with some lemon pepper.

An easy low-ish carb meal is a salad. You do want to eat carbs, just the right kinds. Veggies are loaded with carbs, but the net carbs (after fiber is subtracted) are low.

I also order Scandinavian bran crisps from iherb.com for when I want something bready.

Honestly, just eat a lot of veggies, some lean protein (with lost of fattier ones like fish or the occasional treat like duck,) and limit the fruit. It goes without saying that you shouldn't eat potatoes and bread if you want to lose, but to maintain, you can have some.

There are lots of Korean foods that can work with low-carb.
Obviously most grilled meat places are good as long as the meat isn't marinated. Most jjigaes are good if you stick to the soup and skip the rice.

If you're cooking at home, the possibilities are endless - lots of low carb resources online with great recipes.

Costco meat + Sriracha sauce. BAM! You're now lean and sexy.
