Will Friday be like the biggest sell off in history?

I'm not citing my sources, but did some reading today though I can't accurately predict economics often enough and then it becomes a guessing game like gambeling. It's easy for me to see the Dow Jones gaining back those 512 points on Friday since corporate profits are reported to be strong despite employment numbers and unwarranted inflation indicating a weak economy. The strong earnings reports are mostly based on future savings from planned layoffs and scaled back operations such as is the case with HSBC bank. I could be wrong and it would also be even more interesting to see the market continue to lose hundreds of points in a severe over due correction of reflecting the real state of the economy. |
