Aside from not being fully familiar with the hanja, one of my foreign friends is completely fluent in Korean. And of course, he speaks English (also a second language for him) quite well. Anyways, he is going to start tutoring me in Korean after I get back from my vacation at the end of August. Perhaps, you could join us? PM me if you are interested.
