|
|
Does anyone know the proper procedure for calling a Korean cell phone from America?
My parents have tried using the full number 011-82-010-###...and also dropping that first 0 like they had to when I had a home phone (e.i. Seoul's 02 prefix became just 2), thus 011-82-10-###... Neither way worked.
How should they be dialing my number? |

To call a cell:
011
82
1X
The number (7/8 digit)
Remember, in the 016,017,019 prefix part, the '0' is deleted....just like in ringing a hard line.
Shoosh,

Thanks for your replies.
My dad claims he's tried it that way, but it still didn't work.
I've been trying to get him to use MSN Messenger instead, but for some reason he won't. Alas! |

It is possible your parents do not have an international calling plan. |

Tell your parents to use this site to get a calling card:
www.nobelcom.com
Its rates to South Korea are very cheap. |
