Time to start talking trash, predictions, who you support and all things related to the beautiful game...Let's try not to turn this into a Football/Soccer v. Rugby v. American Football bash fest

Will City's money finally buy them some love and more silver in the premiership?

Can Chelsea bounce back with new gaffer?

Will Swansea City, Norwich City or QPR make any impact?

Can anyone best Barca in the Champions League?

By the way, I'm American and don't really support any one team, although Fulham has a soft spot in my heart because of Dempsey.

United will be champions. City will finish third at best. Swansea will be the surprise package this year. Norwich will be this season's cannon fodder.

I think there will be two groups of three near the top this year.

ManU Vs City Vs Chelski for the top. Arsenal Vs Spurs Vs Pool for last Champs League spot.

ManCity will do well but egosm, infighting, overpaid players and a squad that has too many players in the same positions (Def Mids, Fwds) along with an ultra conversative coach will stop them winning the league.

Chelsea could do well if the manager can coax the older players into an Indian summer. they have had a nice quiet build up which is always a good sign. Their squad is still a bit thin in some areas (Fullback, Def Mid, Wingers)

Manu have a really good squad now and that hammering by Barcelona will make them hungry to improve themselves for another stab at the best club team in the last 2 decades. As long as Alex stays healthy, Utd to win the league again. De Gea will let in plenty of goals which will make matches entertaining and could cost them the league.

-------

Liverpool to have a few flops and a few finds from the new batch. Downing, Suarez and adam to do well. Carroll and Henderson to flop.

Spurs to do very good business near the end of the transfer window and get some bargains ala Van Der Vaart. Diarra, a central defender and a good striker but they will lose modric.

Arsenal will buy a proven central defender and two midfielders after selling both fab and nasri but they will not get into the top 4 without a proper goalie.

--------

Wigan to be relegated... please!!!!

Maybe Norwich and Swansea will go with them.

1-1.

Liverpool seem to have run out of ideas.

Don't think Adam is gonna cut it, need Gerrard back asap.

Give him time. I'm confident he'll have a good season. I never got a chance to see him play at Ibrox, but he was some player when I saw him play when he was out on loan at St Mirren. I think he'll prove to be the most astute bit of business Dalglish has done.

Same as usual. Liverpool need to learn that a game lasts 90minutes, and that it doesn't end when we go ahead.

There's been a fantasy league set up.

http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=20981

I've also just created a prediction league from this site:

Here's the code to join: F5C56-BIM

Scoring will start from next week's games.

Good luck!

Which spot in Seoul takes the pick for the most fanatical sports bar for a crazy night of football and beers?

I don't get into soccer until 4 or 5 weeks in when the tables start forming.

Heck, I don't even keep track of the Big 4 leagues to know who went where.

I love how Ji-Sung though he was being all cool about Bayern's interest but player do this all the time. Rooney almost screwed his deal up last season.

I really don't have a team in the EPL, however. I'm a big Madrid, Bayern, and recently Napoli (Cavani) fan.

Get in there, 2-0 against the Arse.

Positives: Enrique, Adam, Downing, Reina and Suarez was class as usual and changed the game when he came on.

Negatives: Carroll and Henderson, who should both drop to the bench for the next game.
